UCAS Clearing is Now Open
What is Clearing?
Clearing is your opportunity to apply for a university level course if you’re not already holding an offer, you want to apply for a different programme altogether or you didn't get the grades you needed.
Whether you’ve had a change of heart since making your original application, or if you’ve only just decided to apply for a degree programme, Clearing could be the way forward.
Here’s what to do if you have already submitted an application through UCAS
If you’ve already applied through UCAS you can use Clearing if:
- you didn’t receive any offers (or don’t have any you want to accept)
- you didn’t meet the conditions of your offers
- you declined your firm place and want to look for something else
Applying for a new course through Clearing is easy, just follow the steps below.
- if you need to, make sure that you decline any offers that you are currently holding
- find a degree that you’re interested in
If you’re still looking to find one, make sure you check out our university level courses in all sorts of areas, from Performing Arts to Engineering and beyond! Plus, we also offer a variety of different qualifications types, so if a more hands-on HND is more suited to you than a three-year Bachelors degree, we’ve got you covered.
- Once you’ve found a course that you like the look of, speak to our Admissions Team. They can give you any additional information about the programme, check you meet the entry requirements, and give you an informal offer
- Once you have confirmation from us about your place on the course, add your Clearing choice to your application (click here for more details on how to do this!)
- We will then accept you on to the programme so that you can begin the enrolment process and get ready to start your new university-level course!
Here’s what to do if you haven’t applied yet
If you have yet to submit an application, you can still apply through clearing! Here’s what to do:
- First things first, you need to register on UCAS and make an application. Unlike applying before Clearing, you’ll only be able to add a choice after you’ve submitted your application
- Find a course that you’re interested in. You can check UCAS for course vacancies or have a look right here on our website. We have university level courses in all sorts of areas, from Performing Arts to Engineering and beyond! Plus we offer a variety of different qualifications types, so if a more hands-on HND is more suited to you than a three-year Bachelors degree, we’ve got you covered
